I have painted the Lotus which is a symbol of growth, pure beauty,creation and cosmic renewal. Its unfolding petals represent the expansion of the soul.

When Gautama Buddha was born he already had the ability to walk, wherever he stepped Lotus flowers blossomed.

I have superimposed 2000 images of Buddha on the flowers to show his unbound compassion for all beings.

The key message of Buddha in the Lotus Sutra is that Buddhahood – a condition of absolute happiness, freedom from fear and from all illusions- is inherent in all life.
